OUR FURNITURE

Please note this is a solid wood piece of furniture. It will responding to changes in temperature and humidity by expanding and contracting. Your items may experience movements as it adjusts. Many of our wood planks have beautiful character with the appearance of knots, dents and other imperfections. The variety of colors, grains and knots found in wood is also simply the character of a natural piece of wood. No one piece of wood is alike and our customers should expect a variance in color, veining, grain pattern, movement and knots. None of the above is viewed as a defect. We embrace this as the natural characteristic and beauty of solid wood furniture. Feathering The Nest Home does not offer refunds, replacements or exchanges due to the look of the wood as described here. These are the unique aspects that a customer accepts when purchasing our custom furniture.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Furniture orders may be cancelled within 72 hours of submitting your order. All furniture sales are final after this cancellation window.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

Since each item is handcrafted to your specifications, all sales are final. We do not accept returns and/or refunds on any of our custom products. However, if the item is received damaged exceptions may be made.

DAMAGED ITEMS

Our furniture is carefully inspected prior to delivery but, damages do happen. We ask that you inspect your pieces upon receipt. If damage is discovered please make a note of the damage at the time of the delivery on the delivery order form Contact our customer service representative with 48 hours to schedule a service call to address the issue at no charge to you. If we determine that an item cannot be repaired an identical item will be replaced at no charge. If you do not report damages within 7 days from date of delivery, we will assume product has been received in acceptable condition and no compensations will be made.

DELIVERY

Pricing of our products does NOT include delivery. We use a third party delivery service. Once your order is ready for delivery the service will contact you directly to set up delivery and arrange delivery payment. Furniture items will be delivered via the third party service during their operating hours. The local carrier will deliver your item curbside only. If you would like white glove service by having your item placed inside, please inform your delivery service at time of scheduling. White glove service includes the local carrier assisting in placing the piece in the desired space of your home (first floor only). Before your appointment please make sure the walkway and the area where you would like the item placed are clear. The delivery provider is not permitted to move existing furniture to make room for the new item. They are also not responsible to remove unwanted furniture.
